Frequently Asked Questions

What an advance is, who qualifies, how the money works, and where brokers send a file. If your question is not here, ask us and you will get the same kind of answer.

The Product

What you are getting, and what makes it different from a loan.

Is this a loan?
No, and the difference matters. We are buying a set dollar amount of your future sales at a discount, not lending you money. So there is no interest rate, no loan term and no amortization schedule. What you get instead is one number for what lands in your account and one number for what you pay back, both written down before you sign.
What is a merchant cash advance, in plain terms?
You have money coming in that has not landed yet. We pay you a lump sum for a portion of it today, and you pay that portion back out of your normal takings. It is a purchase rather than a debt, and the cost is a fixed dollar figure rather than a rate that keeps running.
How is the cost expressed?
In dollars, so you can see it at a glance. You get the amount we advance, the total you pay back, what comes out, and how often. Those four numbers are in the agreement before you sign anything. We do not quote an interest rate or an annual percentage rate, because an advance is not a loan and does not have one.
Can I pay it off early?
Just ask. Early payoffs are considered on request, and it is worth raising before you sign so you know exactly where you stand.

Qualifying

Position, industry, state, and whatever happened last time.

I already have an advance. Can you still fund me?
We fund second position and beyond, and we will look at a first position where the business has prior advance history. An existing advance is not a problem here. It is most of what we do, so you do not need to lead with an apology.
What industries do you fund?
We work with businesses in nearly every industry, from trucking and construction to retail, restaurants, medical practices and professional services. If you are not sure whether yours fits, the quickest way to find out is to ask us.
What states do you fund in?
We fund businesses across the United States. If you are not sure, apply and we will tell you.
I settled a default with a previous funder. Does that end it?
Not on its own. Bring us the zero balance letter for it and we will take a look, the same as any other business.
What do you need from me to look at a file?
Your business details, your average monthly revenue, a photo ID for the owner, and your recent bank statements. You can upload all of it inside the application, so nothing has to be emailed separately.

The Money

How much, how you pay it back, and what applying actually does.

How much can I get?
We fund $25,000 to $5,000,000. What you are offered depends on what your deposits can comfortably carry, which is why your bank statements tell us more than anything else.
How do the payments work?
An agreed amount comes out on an agreed schedule, daily or weekly, until the advance is complete. The whole schedule is set out in the agreement, in dollars, before you sign.
Will applying affect anything?
Applying tells us about your business so we can take a proper look. Whether we obtain a consumer report, and what happens with it, is set out in the authorization you agree to on the application and in our Terms.

For Brokers and ISOs

You are submitting to the funder. Nobody behind us has to agree with the answer you get.

Do you work with brokers and ISOs?
Yes, and we like working with them. Files go to subs@fijiadvance.com and land on the underwriting desk rather than in a submission queue. You are dealing with the funder, so the answer you get is the answer.
What is your box?
Second position and up, and a first position where there is prior advance history. $25,000 to $5,000,000, with terms running out to 52 weeks. Nearly every industry. Send it over and we will tell you whether it is one of ours.

Still Have a Question?

Some answers only exist once somebody has looked at your statements. Those are worth a phone call.

  • Call the Desk

    (917) 816-3602. You get the people who read the applications, not a queue that eventually routes you to one.

  • Send an Application

Applications go to admin@fijiadvance.com. Attach your recent business bank statements and a photo ID for the owner.

  • Submit a File as an ISO

Broker submissions go to subs@fijiadvance.com. Second position and up, and a first where the business has prior advance history.

Ready to Get Started?
