How It Works

Everything on this page in plain language: what an advance actually is, what we ask you for, what happens after you apply, and what it costs. No jargon, and nothing hidden further down.

What a Merchant Cash Advance Is

Money you have already earned, just sooner.

You have sales coming in that have not landed yet. We buy a set dollar amount of them from you at a discount, and you get paid for it today. The money that arrives in your account is yours to use however the business needs it.

Nothing here is quoted as an interest rate, because there is no interest to quote. There is one number for what you receive, one number for what you pay back, and an agreed amount that comes out on an agreed schedule until it is complete. That is the whole thing, and all of it is written down before you sign.

Bank statements stacked on a wooden desk beside a pen, reading glasses and a mug, under a warm desk lamp.
  • Two Numbers, Both Fixed

One number for what lands in your account and one for what you pay back. Both are set on the day you sign and neither of them moves.

  • Nothing Compounds

An agreed amount comes out on an agreed schedule. There is no meter running in the background and no balance growing while you work.

  • Your Deposits Set the Size

What your business brings in during a normal month is what sets the size of the advance, which is why your bank statements matter more than your credit score.

The Process

From your application to the money landing, here is exactly what happens.

  1. Apply Online

The application takes a few minutes. Have your business details, your average monthly revenue, a photo ID and your recent bank statements handy and you can finish it in one sitting.

  2. We Take a Look

We start with what your business actually brings in, so your bank statements count for more here than a credit score does. Your details stay with us and are not sent out to anybody else.

  3. You Get an Offer

You will see the amount, what it costs you in dollars, and what comes out and how often, all together and all in writing. If it is not a yes, we will tell you that too.

  4. Ask Us Anything

Take your time with the numbers. Ask about the amount, the term, the schedule, paying off early, anything you want to understand before you sign.

  5. Get Funded

Once you have signed and everything checks out, the money goes into your business bank account.

  6. Paying It Back

An agreed amount comes out on an agreed schedule until the advance is complete. If business picks up faster than you expected, ask us about paying it off early.

What We Need

No tax return, no business plan, no projections.

  • Your Business Details

The legal name, what you do, what state you are in, and roughly how long you have been open.

  • Average Monthly Revenue

What the business brings in during a normal month. A close estimate is fine at this stage.

  • A Photo ID

A driver license or passport for the owner. A clear photo taken on your phone works.

  • Recent Bank Statements

The last few months for your business account. Upload the PDFs your bank already gives you, or photos of them.

Your ID and your statements upload inside the application itself, so there is nothing to email separately. A clear phone photo of the license works fine, and the statements go up as the PDFs your bank already gives you.

Run an Estimate

Move the numbers around and see what an advance would look like for you.

Pricing on our best qualified files starts at a 1.10 factor. What you are offered depends on your revenue, your time in business, your position, your industry and your payment history, and most approvals price above 1.10. A factor is not an interest rate and it is not an annual percentage rate. Whatever your number turns out to be, you get the total dollar cost in writing before you sign anything.

Estimated total remittance

$180,000 to $210,000

The full dollar amount you would deliver back, across the whole term.

Estimated weekly remittance

$5,625 to $6,563

Estimated number of weeks: 32

Share of your weekly deposits

27% to 32%

Based on the revenue you entered, spread evenly across the year.

At these figures the remittance would take a large share of your deposits. A longer term brings it down. Talk to us before you commit to something this tight.

Estimate only. This is not an offer.

This is an estimate, not an application, not an approval, not a quote, and not an offer of any kind. Fiji Advance has not reviewed your business, your bank statements, or your credit. Actual amounts, cost and remittance terms are determined only after underwriting and are provided to you in a written agreement before you sign. The figures shown are not interest, not an annual percentage rate, and not a promise of what you will be offered.

Where You Stand

Plenty of what stops a business somewhere else is something we will still look at.

  • You Already Have an Advance

Good news. That is most of what we do here, and we fund second position and beyond.

  • This Would Be Your First

We can look at a first position where the business has prior advance history behind it.

  • You Settled a Default

That does not end the conversation. Bring us the zero balance letter for it and we will take a look.

  • You Want to Pay Off Early

Just ask. Early payoffs are considered on request, and it is worth raising before you sign.

What the Money Goes To

It is your working capital, so it goes wherever the business needs it. These are the usual ones.

  • Payroll and Staffing

Keep everyone paid on time while you wait on money you have already earned.

  • Inventory and Materials

Stock up ahead of your busy season, or buy what a big job needs, instead of turning the work away.

  • Equipment and Repairs

Replace what broke and get straight back to the work that pays for it.

  • Taxes and Bills

Take care of a bill that landed at an awkward point in your cycle.

  • Growth and Expansion

A second location, another truck, another chair, another crew. Whatever the next step is.

  • Consolidating Advances

Bring what you are already carrying into one place, when that makes the payments work better.
