Information you give us
The funding application asks for the legal name of the business, any trade name, the entity type, the industry, the state it operates in, how many months it has been open, its average monthly revenue, the amount you are asking for, and what you plan to do with the money. It asks for the owner's name, email address and phone number.
It asks you to upload recent business bank statements and a photo of a government issued ID. If you send us other documents, such as a zero balance letter for a satisfied default, we hold those too. The application does not ask for a Social Security number or a taxpayer ID number, and there is no field on this website that will take one.
It also records the consents you agree to when you submit, including the wording you agreed to and when you agreed to it, because a consent record has to be reconstructable later. If you call or email us, we keep what you told us and what we told you back. A funding file is a record.
Information collected automatically
This site runs on servers that keep ordinary request logs: which pages were requested, when, and what browser and operating system the device reported. Those logs are kept by our hosting provider and by the form service that receives what you submit, and both record the IP address a request came from, which is how any web service works. We do not read those logs to identify anyone and we do not build an advertising profile from any of it.
Information from third parties
When we work a file we verify what we were told. Depending on the file, that can mean business and consumer reporting agencies, bank and identity verification services, public records, court and lien filings, and the funder behind an advance the business already carries. What we are authorized to obtain is set out in the certification you agree to when you submit the application, and in our Terms.
If a broker or ISO sends us your file, your information reaches us from them. Every broker who submits to us warrants that they have your consent to share it and to have us contact you.
